Embark on the Wudang Tai Chi Journey with Alchemy Energy Arts
Step into the ancient heart of China’s Wudang Mountains in Hubei, where the sacred art of Tai Chi Chuan (Taiji Quan) at Alchemy Energy Arts was born. Rooted in the profound wisdom of Chinese culture, this practice invites you to weave the essence of Taoist traditions into your own journey of self-discovery.
Our Wudang-style Tai Chi flows from the teachings of Master Charles-Henri Belmonte, a disciple of the 16th generation of Wudang Xuanwu Pai, bearing the Taoist name You Weiri (游微日). His lineage traces back to the revered Grand Master You Xuan De (游玄德), a 14th-generation master who mentored luminaries of the 15th generation, including Chen Lisheng (陈理圣), You Lizong, Zhou Lican, Yuan Limin, and Tian Li Fang. As you train with us, you’ll connect to this living tradition, carrying forward centuries of wisdom.
Tai Chi is your meditation in motion, a martial art that channels profound power beneath its soft, flowing exterior. Its graceful movements conceal a formidable combat art, blending suppleness with strength. As you practice, you’ll uncover its hidden depths, learning to move with purpose and precision.
Like Qi Gong, Tai Chi restores your body to a harmonious, natural balance, nurturing vibrant health and vitality. Through dedicated practice, you’ll cultivate physical well-being, a calm and peaceful emotional state, and a clear, heightened consciousness. With perseverance and diligence, you’ll unlock a deeper connection to yourself and the world around you.

Imagine yourself as an artist, first mastering the fundamentals—light and shadow, tools and colors—before expressing your inner vision. At Alchemy Energy Arts, our Wudang Tai Chi follows a structured program tailored for beginners, intermediate, and advanced practitioners. Each level introduces forms and foundational exercises (Ji Ben Gong), offering you fresh perspectives on your practice, your inner self, and a freer expression of your martial art.
By blending Tai Chi, Qi Gong, and meditation, you’ll embark on an alchemical journey—the Royal Pathway, or Middle Way. Every Wudang Tai Chi form begins with the Wuji (無極) stance, hands joined before the Dan Tien, symbolizing the union of opposites, like a pestle and mortar forging unity. As you stand in this position, you’ll feel yourself as the bridge between heaven and earth, embodying the Middle Way.
Join us at Alchemy Energy Arts to embrace this transformative path. As you train in the sacred traditions of Wudang, you’ll discover that Tai Chi is not just a practice—it’s a way of living, connecting you to the timeless flow of the Dao and awakening your true potential.
